The Teeling Whiskey Distillery, Dublin. Established in 2015, this family-owned business makes whiskey and gin right here in Ireland. The distillery is located in the Liberties area of Dublin, where its products can be sampled by visitors who want to learn more about its history and production process.
The company was founded by Jack Teeling (the great-grandson of Richard Jameson), who wanted to open a new business after selling his stake in Cooley Distillery–a leading producer at the time–in 2005. After years spent developing plans for his own distillery, he finally got started with this project four years ago when it became clear that there was interest from consumers who wanted access to high-quality Irish whiskey made by an independent producer rather than multinational corporations like Diageo or Pernod Ricard (makers respectively).
Since then we’ve seen other small producers emerge onto scene such as Kilbeggan Distilling Company which produces single pot still whiskeys along with some limited edition products such as their limited edition 17 year old Single Grain Release 3 bottle pack released earlier this year.”

The oldest operating distillery in Ireland and birthplace of Jameson Irish Whiskey, Midleton distillery was founded by John Jameson in 1780. Today it’s owned by Pernod Ricard and produces an array of blends including Powers Gold Label and Yellow Spot (a triple pot still blend).
