The DCPD has a wide range of uses in the automotive, construction, electrical engineering, medicine, and pharmaceutical industries. ORLEN Unipetrol Group will produce up to 26,000 metric tons per year of dicyclopentadiene. It will be made by ORLEN Unipetrol researchers in collaboration with the University of chemistry and technology in Prague. This investment in the construction of the new production unit was CZK 831 million.
